The national Baha’i schools welcome volunteers to join school staff in service at the permanent schools.
Long-term service (3 months or more) is available for youth (ages 18-25) with the Baha’i Youth Service Corps (BYSC) program which includes not only supporting school operations, but group and individual opportunities to deepen understanding of spiritual themes and then apply learning to daily life and current issues. Local communities may also offer volunteer options to put their learning into action and further build personal capacity for serving in their home communities.
Short-term service (less than 3 months) is available to both adults and youth (18 years and older) through commitment to school operations for weekends, week-long sessions, or an entire summer. Short-term youth typically participate in BYSC study and activities during their stay.
